District Cycle Store Shipping Policy
Q: When will my order be shipped?
All items in stock will be shipped will be shipped with 24 hours of your order being placed (Excluding weekends and public holidays). Items that require assembly, such as bikes or custom wheels will ship within two business days.
Q: How much does shipping cost?
Shipping for Parts and Accessories
We ship orders within Australia using either Australia Post or a Courier service. The price of shipping varies dependent of the total weight of the items purchased. Our minimum shipping rate for parts and accessories is $6.95 through to a maximum of $24.95. We are looking to implement a free shipping option when you spend over a certain amount in the near future.
Shipping for complete Complete Bikes
We offer a flat rate amount of $50 on the majority of our bikes shipped to most capital cities and major areas of Australia. Ladies retro bikes will incur an additional $20 shipping fee as the basket must be shipped in a seperate box. Bikes that are heavily discounted will also incur an additional $20 shipping fee ($70 in total).
Orders from Outback or remote locations may incur additional shipping fee's. If this is the case we will contact you to discuss the freight options and if you wish to proceed with the order. All bicycles shipped are professionally assembled and carefully repackaged ready for shipping. Some minor assembly will be required once you receive your new bike.
Q: How long does it take to receive my order?
Delivery times will vary dependent upon where you live and the shipping provider used. Most orders within Victoria will be delivered in 1-3 days once posted, while other states may take 3-7 days dependent on location. If you require your order in a hurry please contact us on 03 5918 0976 or email email@example.com and we can organise an express service for you. We are currently working on adding express shipping options to our check out options.
Q: Can I place an order online and pick up in store?
Absolutely, simply add the items to your cart that you wish to purchase, once you check out simply choose "In Store Pick Up" from the shipping options. You can either choose to pay for your order either online or when you pick up instore. We will contact you, either by phone, text message or email, to let you know when your order is ready to be picked up. Photo ID is required for in store pick up for those 18 and over or to be accompanied by a parent or guardian for those under 18 without ID.
