Q: Can a bicycle I purchased online be packaged and sent to me?
A: Unfortunately we do not offer a shipping option for bicycles at this time. There are two main reasons for this, firstly it is part of our trade agreement with many of our suppliers that we do not ship bikes and secondly we have a duty of care, to you our customers, to ensure that your new bicycle is fully assembled, safe and ready to ride. You are more than welcome to purchase a bicycle online through our website but it must be picked up from our Pakenham store.
Q: How do I know what size or style of bike is right for me?
A: This is where it becomes vitally important to receive professional advice, riding a bike that is to small or to big for you will be uncomfortable and hamper your enjoyment of riding. We recommend coming in store and discussing with our staff what type of riding you plan to do and what size and style of bike is best suited to you.
Q: I don't see the bike I want on your website, are you able to order one for me?
A: As long as the bike is from one of the brands we stock we will be able to order one in for you (dependent on supplier availability). If it is a brand we normally don't stock, we will need to check if their is already a dealer for that brand in our area.
Q: Do you offer lay-by on bicycles and other items?
A: Yes, we offer a 90 day (3 month) lay-by. All that is required is a 20% deposit of the purchase price, from there you have 90 days to pay the remaining balance. If for any reason you choose to cancel your lay-by you will be refunded all payments made to date minus 10% of the purchase price. This policy complies with Australian Consumer Law. Q: Do I have to assemble the bicycle myself?
A: Every bicycle we sell is fully assembled, tested and ready to be ridden. We do not sell bikes directly out of boxes, we believe we owe a duty of care to our customers, and suppliers, to ensure every bicycle we sell is safe to ride and correctly assembled. Every new bike sold also comes with a free first service valued at up to $50.
Q: Do you service bikes?
A: Absolutely! Please see our "Workshop" page for a breakdown of our servicing packages and other workshop services available. Feel free to call us on 03 5918 0976 or drop in store to book your bike in for a service or repairs.
Q: I purchased a bike for my partner/child but it doesn't seem to be the right fit, what can I do?
A: It can be difficult buying a bike for another person as a surprise, not only can you be unsure if they'll like the style or the colour, there's also the most important factor of all to consider, the fit. We can help guide you to the right tyre of bike based off the information you provide us with, however, if that Christmas or Birthday (or any other occasion) comes and the recipient doesn't like the bike or it is the wrong size simply give us a call and pop back in with the bike and the recipient and we can exchange it for the correct size or their more preferred bike. In order for us to honour this policy the bike needs to be in as new condition upon return in order for us to re sell it as a brand new bicycle still.
Q: Can I return a purchased item?
A: By Australian Consumer Law we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you've simply changed your mind. However if the item has a problem that would prevent someone from buying it had they known about it, if it doesn't do what we described it would, if it is significantly different from the item described or if it is unsafe then we will happily offer an exchange or refund.
If an item is as new and un used and doesn't meet the criteria above, we may accept a return and issue you with a store credit, this is reviewed on a case by case base. For more information on Australian Consumer Law click here.
